Eco-Note Writer

Each month in the Simple River newsletter we include an short Eco-Note article of about 200-225 words. This section is intended to be quick helpful information related to environmental stewardship and proper care of creation. We are looking for someone who has a passion for the earth, and who has the skills at writing short engaging pieces, to assume responsibility for this section. The articles would need to be consistent with the Simple River mission (see About SR page) and written with new and refreshing ideas of simple things regular people can do to lessen their impact and/or to move toward sustainable practices. Because we have a wide range of subscribers from around the world the information given needs to have some variety from month to month and applicability across many cultures and countries. Likewise, we value integrity in what we say, and want any and all facts grounded with sound data and with appropriate referencing for follow-up verification.

This work is not financially reimbursed, but would include a Simple River e-mail address and credit given in the newsletter for your work (which is read by several hundred people throughout the US and in over 15 countries around the world). Furthermore, the website would contain your picture and a short bio. All work can be submitted electronically from anywhere in the world. Once the articles are submitted they would be edited by Simple River and become Simple River property.
